    It's also ugly as hell. Gee, who didn't see this coming what with the PSOne.

    Holy! That's small. I think it looks good, too bad they didn't make it that way to start with...

    Not only is it ugly, it looks like a tap will snap it in half. Knowing the PS2's hardware, I'm not too far off the truth.

    it looks like a PS2 gone under a steamroller. Did they even redesign the thing? <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    So it takes up less space? Why <i>not</i> come out with this now? I think its pretty cool. ;p

    They need to come out with mini controllers for it too....so dwarfs can play.

    @ha.ze I didn't realize the old model took a whole refrigator store room to operate. It's a console not a cellphone no need to make it tiny.

    That looks like it could get lost in the cushions of my couch, which would definately be a big damper on any attempt at gamng.

    Am I the only one who thinks the new look is awesome?

    My only concern is overheating...

    Half the size and twice the price.

    Awesome is the word. Not to the extent that I'd buy one but still.

    Pricing? Since PS2 is pretty much done for, I might just pick one of these up as soon as the price drops down and the games are all like $10. Ha ha ha. PC Gamers get the good stuff late and cheap.

    I don't get it. What's the point in buying it?

    I guess I'll stick to my twig PS2.

    In case you don't already own one, or have an extremely small storage spot for your PS2 (which is actually a concern to people with TVs in their cars <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

    Or in Japan, where space is at a premium.

    They're not asking you to buy a second PS2. This is basically for those who don't have one yet. And why not? I doubt it'll be much pricier, if at all.

    I'd take a minifridge to this anyday. Though I'm not sure that I am ready for the commitment.

    I'll still stick with my X*BOX* becouse it's big and sturdy. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    PS2 goes slimline, neat design, but probably just for reducing production cost and *reviving* the good ol' console.

    Look where there should be white space to the left of the new PS2.

    Just as ugly as the original. The slim design is sexy in that it's slim, but that's it. It's still a PS2.

    And what is with their vertical obsession? CD-READING LASERS DON'T WORK WELL ON THEIR SIDE!

    Pretty soon we'll have things so small that it will be impossible to even turn on the power button. Eventually, people will lose 8cm in height and will have to gene manipulate their thumbs to twiddle properly.
