Select All Pixels Of A Specific Color

<div class="IPBDescription">(photoshop way of doing it)</div> Hi, is there a way in Photoshop-6 to select all the pixels in the image that are all sharing the exact same color so I can then do what ever I want with it (delete, copy, ...) ?

I tried several ways but it doesn't select all pixels, just regions of pixels.

Go to the select menu -> select color range.

Click on the pixel you want.

    Yay.

This works better than the magic wand if the areas you are selecting aren't contiguous.

Unselect the "Contiguous" checkbox and it doesn't have to be contiguous, as was already pointed out.
