wow. i suggest just getting a new computer. i got a 2.1 ghz 512 ram 75 gb geforce fx 5200, plus 19" moniter, speakers, keyboard and the fixins for only 700 US dollars, just get a small parttime job and save up. newegg.com has great prices and fast shipping, but i got my computer at a computer show. just check around in the newspapers and stuff for one near you.

    That has to be one of the crappiest laptops I have evar seen. However, if you cant afford a new one, go to <a href='http://www.newegg.com' target='_blank'>NewEgg</a>, <a href='http://www.tigerdirect.com' target='_blank'>Tigerdirect</a>, <a href='http://www.mircocenter.com' target='_blank'>Mircrocenter</a>, <a href='http://www.compusa.com' target='_blank'>CompUSA</a>, <a href='http://www.amazon.com' target='_blank'>Amazon</a> or <a href='http://froogle.google.com/' target='_blank'>Froogle.</a>

I remember my dad's 286 laptop. Like all 286s, it was unusually large for some reason, and it only supported EGA in black, white, and 2 shades of grey in-between. The plasma screen made it unrealistic to try to use a battery with it. I don't think I'll ever see a laptop worse than that.

actually i have. the screen would blink on and off, if you even TRIED to use the mouse pad the computer would crash lol, and if you executed more than two programs such as aim and msn messanger, the computer would spark....
