    Meta mod p10 works.

As stated everyone that has had issues has been running amx or amxx or whatever. Try taking that off and seeing if it still crashes.

The way to figure out if its metamod is to limit what you have on your server down to one thing at a time.

Hence if you load all the mods and it crashes it might not be metamod. I'm not a huge mod person so I only turned on metamod to stop the sg crash thingo. Soon as that gets fixed I'm back to vanilla ns.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this was a linux server, not Windows, which may be the difference. I get the same crash that Black Mage reported,

FATAL ERROR (shutting down): NUM_FOR_EDICT: bad pointer

this happens anytime the first AM-defined user joins the server, or i run an admin_command. Removed AM and server runs fine. <edit>except for the fact that we don't have AM running anymore...AMX is looking attractive now?</edit>

I finally managed to get adminmod running with beta 5 on Linux. The reason it didn't work out of the box was that the NS team switched compiler on Linux from gcc 2.95 to gcc 3.2 for beta 5. After recompiling adminmod with this gcc, it seems to be running without any problems.

would you be kind enough to share? My current server is linux, but I have no root access to compile. There may be another way, I just dont know it.

Unoffical, This is just metamod 1.17.2 with support for the item_ammopack entity

Only 32bit windows dll atm :/

I can upload the source if anyone wants it.. all it is is one line of code added to linkgame.cpp .. Seems a waste to upload it

    <a href='http://devnull.vision-host.net/metamod-1.17.2.1.zip' target='_blank'>http://devnull.vision-host.net/metamod-1.17.2.1.zip</a>

Does not crash on mapchange, like I heard the dynamic one was <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> This MM dll gives me the host error DLL API can't be found message. but when another version of MM is in the same directory with same filename, the server starts up. however no MM (even p10) works without crashing my server during gameplay. everyone says 1.17.2.1 works great, but it won't even let my server start up! i tried downloading it a second time and still no luck. pleeease help
