Wait I know you are because if you aren't then I would call you the mostest biggest intarnet retardor of them all..
And yes I messed up spelling and grammar on purpose as to make me sound like the retard when I fact that I was making the point that he would be a bigger retard then me.
But I know your being sarcastic so I don't have to call you that.
Oh good lord just what we need, voting through Steam. Steam has so many errors already, just think of the disasterous results when people vote... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
God, how stupid is the average user of the NS forums? Merely having the thought this may be true cross your minds should be immediate grounds for castration.

For those who have never voted, here's the basic process here in Harris County, Texas, which uses electronic voting:
1. You must register to vote in Harris county before you can vote here. There are various requirements, including: U.S. Citizenship, resident of Harris county, at least 17 years and 10 months old, not a convicted felon, not declared mentally incompetent 2. You recieve a voter registration card, which is automatically updated every two years. If you move, you have to notify them. 3. When it is time to vote, you go to your precinct's polling place, usually a courthouse, school, or a recreational center. 4. You present your voter registration card, or driver's license if you don't have the vote registration card, to the volunteers. 5. You sign your name off on their list. 6. They give you a number which has nothing to do with any of your personal information. 7. You take this number and enter it into the voting computer. 8. You either cast a straight-party vote, or you vote for the various candidates individually. 9. All the non-partisan positions require you to vote for candidates individually. 10. If there are any referendums on the ballet, you then vote for those. 11. You press the big red button, then you're done.
I don't vote in party primaries, but I imagine they work in a similar way, except your card is stamped with the party's stamp to prevent you from voting in another party's primary. Obviously, they won't let me vote there without my voter registration card.
Early voting would work in the same way, except there are a smaller number of polling places to choose. Still, you have a much shorter line, the parking is better, and you don't have to deal with people handing out political flyers at the entrance.
Voting over the Internet just won't happen in the U.S. I guess other countries, where their voting systems aren't tied to precincts, counties, and states, could vote over the Internet.
