    NS will be moving onto an engine of Flayra's choice. I hope it is Source and it probably will be source.

    The only thing you can do it wait and see.

    We run into the problem of having 4000 fan-made versions of NS for the Source engine, though, when it comes out. With Source, to my knowledge, it's insanely easy to port HL1 mods to the newer engine, even if they'll look exactly the same as before.

    I think the dev team might be forced into releasing an official port just to stop this from compromising NS's integrity.

    After all, who wants a thousand varied fanmade mods of the same thing?

    im sure to port it over you would need the source code for it, which only flayra has.

    yes source is the engine that hl2 is run on.

    It's been asked. Many, many times.

    There are no current plans to port NS to any other engine.
