Ya...
A while ago my grandfather went to an art class so he could get his degree in graphic art... He was always complaining about how he couldn't draw, and certainly wasn't an accomplished artist. After the class, he was drawing in a professional matter. He showed me some and I couldn't believe it was his work at first. He had taken the class that revovled around drawing on the right side of the brain. He can now draw excellently. I borrowed the book from him to see if it was a miracle or if it was good teaching through the book. Well... I started the book and realized that it was the book. It teacheds you how to shift into your "Right brain" mode, letting your right hemisphere work while not using your left hemisphere. I just wanted everyone to know about this book as it is an excellent source to "LEARN" to draw. So everyone stop asking how to draw and read this book. Oh, and the book also features many excersizes to help you out. IT IS NOT PHONY, in fact it is a huge compilation of knowledge and scientifical facts that even expert artists would enjoy reading it. Well... enjoy and i hope my random blabbering will help someone out there.

It's said right handed people use their left side of the brain more, and vice versa. So I'll stick with the left, thanks.

Oh geez I'm like your grandfather - an understanding for good design but can't put pencil to paper for the life of me.

I wonder if I can find this in the library.

Your left hand or the left side of your brain? The right side of your brain is the artistic side of your brain while the left is the logical one... And about the people who use their left hands use their right hemisophere more often... its not true. So there... Honestly thoguh it isn't true.

Yes, I already own a copy. Most excellent techniques, and after a while, you can literally feel your mind shifting into 'artistic' (right-brain) mode. Only problem is that when I started really practicing heavily, I'd look up and four or five hours would have gone by in the space of what felt like fifteen minutes.

Wow... more replies then I expected. I lately haven't been working on it because of the fact that i don't have a viewfinder and no money to buy 1 (i need a job) I am thinking about finding some plastic or glass to use for it. Anyone wants to share their drawings using this book or its techniques, i would love to see them. Glad to be of help to ssome people.

O and the portfolio on that site is really useful, my grandfather bought one and its huge and comes with all the supplies you need for the book.

    Later guys.
