Just out of curiosity, did you forgot to mention Ayumi Hamasaki? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Opeth, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish...
In addition to this list and some other various bands I like to listen <a href='http://kawaii-radio.net' target='_blank'>Kawaii radio</a> (some anime music is also close to my heart) and <a href='http://www.digitallyimported.com' target='_blank'>DigitallyImported.com</a> net radios while mapping. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I don't tend to play different music for different things i'm doing, i just have metallica, Iron Maiden, Muse or Guns 'n' Roses playing. All the time i'm on the computer(not in-game though)

Loud music makes it hard for em to concentrate. Most of the tuff From Ministry of Sound is good. Try lookign up 'Barrio Alto' by theivery corporation. Its quiet with no lyrics.

If you like Pavement you will definitely like Dinosaur Jr, Silver Jews and Modest Mouse. Give them a shot if you haven't already.

Techno all the way... mostly. I just listen to some random songs... it's not what kind of music that counts... it's having music playing that counts.
