Alien Energy And Resource Bars

<div class="IPBDescription">Can you...?</div> I was wondering if it's possible to get a counter for your Energy (like the Resource bar) and if it's possible to put the resource counter lower on your screen, like say, just above the health display?
So kind of like how you have your resource counter saying
(28/100)
I want to know if you can get an Energy bar looking like that, saying
(30/100)
I just want to know if it's even possible, because personally the Energy and Resource bars just distract me, and I'm just going to make a transparent sprite to patch over them so they aren't there.
Also, if it's possible to lower the counter, can someone please tell me?
