If someone is to be offended over the internet then they are one sad person.
People that get offended over the internet seem to call it drama. It is only drama if you let it effect your life, and if you life effected by text on a computer screen then you need to find a hobby, or friends.

I have a lot of friends at school. Outside of the school I have my hockey team. At school I'll play poker or hang out with some of my friends from hockey, but once I leave school, I don't ever really hang out with anyone. Once in a while I will go to play laser tag or go to the movies, but thats maybe once every month or two. I think the whole summer I went to Cedar Point with my friends, and played poker for a few hours one night, and that was it. But I was in Europe for a few weeks, so that really took a big chunk of my summer.
I used to hang out with my friends a lot, but as I have gotten older it has gotten kind of boring and playing roller hockey or jumping on someone's trampoline has really lost its appeal. (I like playing football, but I've had too many injuries to continue playing) I also have a busy work schedule. I still enjoy hanging out occasionally, but I think that it gets kind of old quick doing the same thing over and over with the same people. Today I would rather just be working or something, and when I'm not working, I'll play NS for an hour or two and chill with my "eFriends" because its pretty fun and I don't ever have to worry about anything IRL. I'm at the age where everyone has a job and theres really no time to hang out anyways, but in the meantime, I am also teaching myself to speak German, because I was in Germany this summer with DaimlerChrysler and made a lot of German friends who will be coming over here next summer (They do speak English though, it will just be nice to understand them).
Actually, this weekend I'm going to Canada to hang out with some of the other kids I went to Germany with (My mom works for DaimlerChrysler and it was sort of like a summer exchange program, totally free of cost to me, a great experience) to just chill out for the day and catch up with everyone. Hopefully I'll get to see pictures of all the stupid **** I did when I was there, should be fun.

Firewater, your not argueing objectively, so there is no point in argueing against you. I guess I'll just tag along with the cool kids...
Some people really do base their lives on the internet and see it as their social status. I know my one friend basically only works, eats, sleeps and plays video games. Sure, he goes to the movies or to a friend's house, but wherever he goes, he brings his gameboy. Gah, got a little off track, but I'm back on now. Moving on. I was just talking to him yesterday and he was upset becasue a "internet relationship" had ended. He said that he and this girl had been going out for a year <i>over the internet</i>. Then I asked how he could love someone whom hes only talked to online and called a couple times. He didn't reply. I'm going to be harsh for a moment. The only reason that "relationship" happened was because inside, he probably felt socially inable to get girlfriend. Don't get me wrong, he is a good gid and a very close friend, but sometimes I have to wonder.
