What software do you use to convert tracks on audio CDs to mp3's?
Today I got a $250 mp3 player from a freind. Before this, I just used my CD/mp3 player. I mostly used CD's. My new Mp3 player does not accept CDs, only mp3,WMA, and ASF via USB. Therefore, I want to export all the tracks off of my entire collection of audio CDs onto my computer as Mp3 files, and transfer those mp3 onto my players flash. The problem is none of my current software seems to have the ability to export audio tracks as MP3.
I currently have Nero5, InCD, WinXP w/ Win Media Player. WMP will export audio cd tracks as WMA, but I want Mp3 specifically. I want to be able to put an audio CD into my drive, hit a button and have it dump all those tracks as mp3s on my Hard drive.
All the software I see online that does this costs like $30. Im curious if anybody knows of some freeware that does this.

Assuming you actually have the cd's legally, that is XP
If you *just* want CD-MP3, CD-Ex is a very good program. It's slow, but works well.
If you're willing to take the plunge into a new media player, I personally recommend iTunes. It has a ripping function, and on top of that is the best music-organization program I've ever used. I absolutely love it, and if you want to manage an entire library then it's an excellent program.
*EDIT* Beaten <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> I have to use iTunes with my iPod but I've found it quite clunky and annoying, although I haven't tried ripping anything with the program.
I second this recomendation. Fastest and bestest ripper I've ever used EVER. And 100% free.
Well at least it would be if his player supported that format.
