you really dont understand what im going on about coz ur new to <i>this</i> community. Im pretty sure most of us here have the decency not to use other people work, but recently one of the people on these forums continuously stole others people work, thats why i wanted to clear things up
It is frowned open by almost all of us here, and more than that alot of us just wont tolorate it
taking someone elses work is stealing and more often than not, someone will find out. and if they dont, i wud just feel sorry for the mapper coz all it shows is they dont have the decency or talent to make all there own work

By the way why is it that everyone makes the assumption that you are 'new' to a forum if you have only started posting recently. Who's to say I didn't post on the forums in '02, delete my account, come back and begin posting again under a different name (this isn't neccessarily aimed at you Kester). Please don't make any assumptions or have any preconceived ideas about me. Besides my previous comment stands and I would have made it whether I'd known about this recent spate of thefts or not.

Its just been annoying recently with the problems we've had and saying stuff like "It's pointless saying you can't use it because there's no way to stop everyone who finds unclaimed/lost work from copying it. You are correct to say that it is stealing, but in reality -who's to know? We map in a community riddled with cheats, teamkillers etc. so what makes you think that people won't duplicate a map for their own personal gain." could make ppl think, "hey why not then, i probably wont get caught and it'll make this area look so much better"
and i kno u werent trying to make it look like that, its just how i think some ppl might see that
anyhow i dont think we need to carry on with this so hopefully we can let this die now
