A Silence/primal Scream Question

<div class="IPBDescription">it's a question about silance and scream</div> It a 3 hive lerk with the silence evolution uses it's 3rd hive ability, Primal Scream. Does it still scream?

I know this might sound like a joke, and in part it is, but I really am curious about it.

    The lerk will scream, as will a skulk right before it xenocides, even if it has silence.     Fixed in the next version, Primal Scream/Xeno are both silenced.

    Silenced primal scream makes sense. The scream includes some frequencies that marines hear, and some that they can't. When the lerk has silence, the frequencies that marines can hear are eliminated, while the others remain. Luckily (for the Kharaa), the frequencies that marines hear aren't important to giving fellow aliens a boost.

    Actually if you read the bug report everything but primal scream on lerks and chuckling(etc) will be silenced. The exception is xeno's explosion will make noise but the scream will not.
    And in the case of primal scream, the alien mini scream that the other aliens make in reaction to primal scream will be silenced.

    Yeah, when you hear the xenocide scream you know you've to take that skulk out NOW. Also, it gives you a chance to run/jump away from it. Not hearing the scream will seriously cut down your chances of survival.

    However, as I like xenociding marines I can't wait to be able to sneak up to a group of them and explode without warning! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    In combat xeno is quite powerful. Any decent alien team with at least 1 xenociding skulk will always win. And if the marines damage the hive, you can go gorge and throw webs around. But usually you will take down the jets before they can make it.
