Spam filters are great, Yeah they keep my inbox free of cheep viagra. But they are not quite as intelligent as i hoped. Anyway i run a few websites, and on my latest one it has an email verification system. Que the problem, any inbox with even the most basic spam protection eats the verification emails. The only email inbox that doesn't eat the emails is GMail.

When the server auto sends this email using the cdonts ASP email system the email gets eaten. So i thought, what about if i send exactly the same text using outlook express from the same email address, so i tried it. Bam, straight into the inbox.

There is also another problem, my ISP has a junk mail filter on its address. Because this is email server side, it cannot be turned off and so as far as a user knows the email wasnt even sent.

Why The Hell? What can i do to make the automated emails go straight into the inbox.

    no spam filter is perfect, thus why they should always simply be filtered into specific folders for you to read/del at your whim.

    never should emails be flat out blocked!

    yell at your ISP for sucking <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
