<div class="IPBDescription">New band, old faces</div> So I've been patiently awaiting the release of "One Day Remains", Alter Bridges first album, for who knows how long and I finally bought it today when it came out. I must say, I am simply amazed with this band.

The band is mostly former members of creed. Mark Tremonti (Guitar and vocals), Brian Marshal (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums). The new addition to the band being Myles Kennedy (Guitar and Lead vocals). Myles Kennedy was originally from the band Mayfield Four which apparently never took off the ground (which might be why I've never heard of it until I learned about Myles' background).

Creed was awful and I've attempted to block them outta my memory.. When I heard they called quits, I rejoiced..

How can anyone even like Creed, I still get nightmares of that music making my ears bleed.

A local radio station played about 30 seconds of these guys' new single, at which point they apparently got flooded with so many calls telling them the single sucked that they took it off and destroyed the CD on the air. It made me smile.
