Indeed! That's two of the 3 things bothering me, that and the thumb horn needs to taper back, I went into more detail on this on the ODS forums though

That, actually isnt a Beretta M92.. Seems to actually be a Taurus PT92. Notice how the safety and decocking bar are right over the grip rather than on the slide.. thats how you can usually tell. Along with them looking a bit different from the old M92's which also had those above the handle.
  • ChronoChrono Local flyboy Join Date: 2003-08-05 Member: 18989Members
yeah i kinda figured that but i took funbags' word for it since it was his gun but whatever

i remodeled some bits of it and got the polycount down to 2519 and i still need to add a mag release

Quite Simple. The oringal Model M92 series, Like the M92SB and M92FB had the rtigger lock and decokcing bar directly above the handle. Later they stopped making them that way and moved those 2 levers to the back of the slide.

For a good history of the M92, check this page.

That appears to be An AKM with an AK-74 type Muzzle Brake on it, Or it could be an AK74 with an AKM style magazine. Doesnt look like Its Russian made though. Im guessing Its Bulgarian.

If you really want a well made and finished Kalashnikov, youve gotta get you're hands on an Old East German MPiK.. Those are without a doubt the nicest.
