<div class="IPBDescription">my graphic card.</div> <b>Well today i bought GeForce Fx 5900 Ultra card in The Stores.</b>

Well and i got a problem with my Card.

If i dont connect a power supply cable to my 3D blaster FX card, It will function, but will not give the best possible performance for my PC.

Well so included in my package i found a Power supply Splitter Cable. The purpose of the cable is to allow me to supply power to my FX-card while maintaining my original numbers of connectors for use with Hard drives, CDROM, drivers etc.

I dont have a free power connector but i can attach the power Supply Splitter Cable to a free drive and make it work.

So i just wonder why New FX-Cards need Power to work for best quality?

My old GeForce 3 worked good without any SplitterCables or so.

And shall i really Connect the Power Supply Splitter Cable to a free slot for best FX-card performance?

Allrigt but everything works well so far with the Card.

Oh, yes i bought today an LCD Display for my PC hehe. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

They need more power because they don't get enough from the AGP slot... sorta obvious I'd think...

The new card generations (ATI too) need enormous power to run 3D, that's why they get so friggn hot and that's why they are so huge.

Best is if you have a free slot only for your card.
