Hey guys - I'm stuck.
I'm in that spot in Hell when you fight the first boss. (The weird demon horned seeker-using dude thing). How am I supposed to beat him?
In case you're confused, it's the bit in Delta Labs 3, I think, with the third generation teleporter to Hell for the first time. I still haven't got the soul cube yet and I really need some help.

Dang, I'm an idiot - I must have missed that page! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> Thanks so much!
And is it me, or is it that Hell isn't really scary? =/
When I'm in hell.. it just doesn't look as good as the UAC facility. When I'm in Hell it's bright... and Demons don't pop out from anywhere... sure, it's difficult, but not scary.
Back when I was in the Mars Complex, every corner I turned I was ALWAYS on the edge.

You serious? I was swimming in ammo even after they took my guns away twice. Check every email and audio link in the PDA's and open every locker.
The Sarge battle, where he has a BFG, is best done with the plasma rifle. Shoot the BFG shots he fires at you so they'll detonate early. If they hit you at full strength you die, it's that simple. Otherwise just pump him full of plasma; I had full plasma going in and it took me down to around 1 third capacity beating him.
Because in hell, they are on the home turf. They don't need to hide - they just need to claim your soul. That stream of black things that were flying upwards in one of the chambers of hell freaked me out, and I don't know why...
yeah i beat him i say its easier to take out his bfg shots with the AR id just shoothim the cells with AR then switch to plasma and blast away then go back to ar shoot his cell and repeat
Delta labs are the scariest hands down. I believe this happened to me in delta 2: I was walking through the portion of the labs where the "infected" people were stored before the major outbreak. There were several cells, most of them had dead zombies but a few had live ones doing creepy things. The scariest was when I walked up to a cell and looked at the zombie inside, he was kind of hunched over against the wall. Right away he looked at me and stumbled towards the glass, and right when he got there I noticed he had been covering the lower part of his face throught his quick stumble towards me, and he removed his hand to reveal that his entire lower jaw was gone.
The cherubs (aka winged babies) are pretty scary too, but I was disappointed (or relieved...) when I saw them for the first time. When I saw their pic and info on planetdoom.com I pictured them being introduced through a cutscene where you find it and think its normal, then it goes nuts on you. The way they were introduced was bad though, you just kind of get rushed by an onslaught of them and don't stop to think about what they are, you just blast them.
I had just finished cleaning up a horde of zombies with the Berserker power-up, when I realized that I'd forgotten one. I heard him grunting and walking about, but I couldn't find the bastard. That is, until I rounded one corner and something blocked me. There was nothing there, yet the nothingness reached out and smacked me. I fired, but I hit nothing. I tried every weapon, and now am convinced that this "ghost" is a glitch or a bug. Frag 'nades take him out, but the game freezes. I've reloaded and restarted the level over and over... to no avail.
Darn, I was hoping it was that yellow-eyed spook that vanished behind those crates at the start of alpha-labs level 4. <img src='http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-8/358867/shot00001.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

I don't think there has been one particular scariest moment. It's been the anticipation of the scary parts that got me. You know perfectly well that once you pick up that bodyarmour/gun that some demons will come crawling out your you-know-what.

Ok, I am officially stuck now. I'm in the Delta Labs part 2, and I am at this part with 9 bins, but two are missing (6 and 8) and I have NO IDEA what to do. Please help. Also, how close to the last boss am I?
Haha, you need to choose hop onto the crane, the jump onto the side of the right wall, look there first, there is a vent. You are a little over halfway through the game.
Have fun <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I went back to the very beginning of the part after hell, poked around a bit and got positively loaded with ammo and guns. I have them all. Before hell I had taken a slower and more methodical approach, but as the game's story sped up so did I. Now I'm in the first portion of the Martian caverns.
After playing System Shock 2, I can't say I was really specifically frightened by any of the scenes. However, the first time I saw a hell knight (after examining a door due to soft whispers), I was pretty startled.
I dunno, but I never really got spooked like did in SS2 though. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

There's a room with some yellow crates stuck in the left wall (left when you enter the room). Look at the other side of the room from the entrance; there should be a ledge on the far side. Now, call the crate that is on the top right (viewing from the control panel) down. Once it is ready, send it back but before the arm grabs it jump on top of the crate. It will carry you up to the ledge, which you can then walk down and into a vent that will take you where you need to go. The code for the BFG office is 931.

Ah man. Well, I'll continue the true meaning of the thread: The absolute scariest part for me has probably been the Pentagram Growth Room.
...or maybe the vent(which is EXACTLY where I'm at- I'm 2 feet after the Satan's Chuckling-Skeleton-moves scene. And man its creepy. And it just keeps getting worse- am I near Delta Labs? I really wanna get there <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
But yeah...this game, its incredible. Best $60 I've spent in years.
One of the parts that got me the worst was by one of those lifts. Can't remember what area it was in but, you walk into the room and the screen goes all red and a big crate topples over uncovering a little hole behind it, then this body gets launched out. I had to pause and take a breather...
And could somebody give me tips on beating the guardian? He just won't die...
