Tim: Yeah except for the BFG. One thing we learned from Quake II is that people really don't like the BFG in deathmatch.

Tim: Well the great thing about DOOM 3 is that all the tools that we used to develop the game like the map editor, the map compiler and thing that makes all the monsters smart ships with the title. Then we even went one step further. We're actually shipping all of the source maps for the game. No game has done this and no game is going to do this. If you're making a mod and you want to see how we did something, load up our source material. That's a major advantage to modmakers that we have in DOOM 3 and it's very exciting because it really gives everybody the same tools we used. It makes me really excited to see the great mods that will be available soon.

IGNPC: Heh, okay. How about Quake 4 then? Are you happy with Raven and their process so far?
Tim: Oh yeah, the great thing about Raven is that they've made AAA titles and are an awsome developer. We haven't had much time to spend with it since we're finishing up DOOM 3, but now and moving forward we'll have more time. They've done a great job and taken the engine and done some great things with it. It'll be different enough from DOOM to make this a great title all by itself.

IMO, I think every gamer should. Hell my middle aged coworkers are getting excited about it.
I mean, come on. Its DOOM 3. Get off your high horses and admit this is a good time for gaming.
Anyways... Did id just send out an interview response template and the 3 places just made their questions match? I swear every single interview was nearly same question, nearly same answer, nearly same order...
One thing though:
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->GameSpy: When did you actually wrap up development?
Tim Willits: We code released about 45 minutes before Todd (Hollenshead) told the rest of the world. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->Told ya so. :P

True but most people don't have online nicknames such as DOOManiac.
But I've had this nick for nearly 9 years (!), there's no way I'm changing it now. :P
