All I know is I get it now when I try to turn on the light in the middle of the room... WTH??? LOL

Something about that light appears to be crashing HL, try spawnflagging it to be on in the beginning and see if that particular light "on" isn't the cause. Strange, where's Cagey when you need him... *sniffle*

Weird. Yeh, first check the light entity in WC, bah, VHE, or whatever, to make sure everything seems normal. If it does, just delete it and try with a 2nd light. But yeh, try what dark said, if its on at the start and doesn't crash, you'll know where your problem isn't anyway.

i get the exact same error when i try to connect to a server , it allways works the second time though
