Newegg is good if you live in the USA, but just make sure you stay away from the fx 5200. It is DX9 compliant, but it is slower than a GF4MX. And has no hope at all whatsoever of running any DX9 games at a playable framerate.

i have fx 5200 and i run dx9 games at fine framerates. they could be better and go down in some situations, but its better than i expected for one so cheap.
As far as buying a new video card goes, just wait a few days/weeks. Very soon all the good sites (HardOCP, Anandtech, etc) will be having "what card do you need for DOOM III" articles to help you make the best decision as to what to spend your hard earned money on.
By the way, if you just can't wait until DOOM 3 is out, the Union Aerospace Corporation now has a countdown timer for you.

News flash! There will be a demo, but it probably won't come out until after the game is out.

Hmmm I'm gonna upgrade my processor and check my power supply wattage, I might need to upgrade to 300 watt if it's not already.
