The Game Freezes When Leaving

<div class="IPBDescription">When i leave, it freezes,and i....</div> Everytime i try to leave through esc/ quit, binding, or exit in console, it freezes. I either have to control alt delete or reboot it. Can anyone help me? would be a great help. I am using windows xp/ radeon 9600
