I'm actually really excited about this, it might be a reason good enough for me to buy a game cube...

    Doomeh posted the video on here. It's still at his website, I think, so you could ask him for it if you want to host it.

    I'm having similar thoughts. Anyone know roughly how much would a used GC and this game would run me? And any other really good GC games?

    Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Super Monkey Ball, Viewtiful Joe. Those are your essentials.

    doomaniac.com ran out of bandwidth, so its gone for a bit. I thought it reset the bandwidth meters at the first of every month, but it turns out that its based on your sign up date...

    Anyways I'll link the video to you guys whenever it goes back up. It's probably on the big N's website though if you look around.

    The new Zelda definately looks OMFGPWN though.

    Well, the local GameDude has a refurbished GCN for $60 with one original-release game, or Pikmin. It's incredibly worth it, just I already have one... :b

    The GC really has a few great games going for it, including Wind Waker. And don't even start crying about the cell shaded look, you watched the Loony Toons as well, didn't you?

    Wind Waker's cell shaded look absolutely pwns. In fact, while I love the new zelda look I was a little disappointed to see the chell shading completely abandonded, because it worked so well.

    pfft the cel shading couldn't hold a candle to the N64 versions of Zelda

    Yes it can. Ocarina was good, but looked like ****.

    Looked? Check again... it hasn't aged well, either. Wind Waker is an evolution beyond Ocarina in every sense - control, visuals, everything.

    One interesting thing to note: the enemies in Wind Waker look remarkably like the original concept drawings in the first Legend of Zelda game for the NES. So you could say that with Wind Waker, they finally reached the point where they could display Zelda as originally intended. (;

    I'm kinda eh about the new Zelda. I'm sure it will be fantastic, and I'm interested to see what seems to be a sequel to Ocarina (there's a fair bit of coverage in this past month's Game Informer, including that idea). But I would really have loved to see a true sequel to Wind Waker, and I hope the big N hasn't let that idea fall by the wayside.

    I perfer a sequel to ocarina then wind waker personally, I haven't played much of wind but when I saw the commercials for it it didn't grab me like the (short promoted) ones for ocarina, plus I love play the ocarina!
