Was a kind of test run for one this week
Looks like there might be a Monaco style Grand Prix on the streets of London on the cards for the near furture . There was a test run kind of earlier this week where part of the proposed course was sectioned off and the F1 cars had a wizz round for the spectators.

I think this is a great idea personally what minor trouble this would cause due to traffic disruption would be far out weighed by the good that such and event would do for the sport and the money it would bring in through tourism.

Here's a link about it

It works for Monaco, why not London? When I saw this on the news the cars seemed to be going quite fast with little protection to the masses behind small concrete things. However, I wouldn't want to be in there if a car decides to jump off the track. But it can work so im thumbs up for it. Interesting stuff.

Though if it does, it just gets some stupid people out of the breeding population. If you're dumb enough to be standing that close to cars going that fast with that little protection, you deserve to become a smear if fate deals it out. It's a win-win scenario!
