Mine was at some random point when I realized that my computer was connecting to the internet, but there were no wires connecting it. I got this wierd mental image of games floating through several walls downstairs to the wireless router.

Wireless networking reminds me of that episode of "The Tick" with the superintelligent dolphin.
There's a physical connection all the way from your broadband hookup to whatever server you're connecting to (granted that it's on the same continent). For Technology? Seeing a friend run FarCry at 16x12 with all settings maxed (256MB X800 pro). That game is beautiful - if you have the hardware.
