<div class="IPBDescription">Good game, confusing story.</div> Ok so yesterday I was bored so I headed on over to the video store and rented Freedom Fighters for the PS2. I found it to be a really good game, but the story to be confusing. Here is the plot, which is basically "OMG OMG TEH SOVIETS TOOK OVER TEH GHETTO OH NOS, FREEDOM FIGHTERS FTW W000000T!!!" Ok, here is the real plot:
During the cold war, the United states ignores all peace treaties and puts missiles in Cuba anyway. The Soviet Union is upset and wages war. The Soviets win the Cold warand cause chaos. After a period of time, the Soviets invade NYC. You are a plumber and you follow some old guy during the inital attack and join a underground rebellion called the Freedom Fighters. You go on several missions to attempt to drive the Soviets ot of NYC.
The plot is good in itself but there is one question the preterbs me: WHERE THE HELL IS THE US ARMY? The Soviets just waltz into the US and take over, with no resistance from the Army. WTH?!

ROFL. Maybe but there should have been <i>some</i> resistance from the military.

Obviously near MonsE.
Either that or a sequel to Fallout Tactics (<i>not</i> Brotherhood of Steel, which isn't even Fallout, but don't get me started) using the same engine as Freedom Fighters. Adding vehicles, NPC reactions, trading, and character stats might take some work, but hoho hooooboy the result would be fun to play.
if bush was president hed send all he had to kill whats in the US and whats left to kill the soviet union... and probobly lose but never the less
ATTACK THAT MAN ON THE STREET, MARIK!
That man just played BOS, and said it was better than Fallout 1 and 2! I demand you eat him alive like Dogmeat would!
But yeah, AWESOME game, I loved it. Best Console Game I've ever played, easily.
And actually, if you search, I made a thread about the game back a month or 2 after it came out.
