AT&T
Okay i'm sick of buying ring tones for 2 dollars. I've looked all over the place for ring tones and I can't find any for AT&T. Does anyone know why? Any other AT&T users able to download FREE ring tones?
ok, my phone isn't AT&T so I probably won't be much help, but I hate seeing an unanswered post I think most wireless companies these days do everything in their power to make sure you have to pay for EVERYTHING... the last phone I had was a Sprint, and it was supposed to have the ability to hook directly up to the computer via a kit sold separately, so you could upload whatever you want onto it... of course that connection kit was CONVENIENTLY out of stock for the entire ~1 to 2 years I had the phone... because they don't want you to upload your ring tones and games and stuff straight to the phone, they want you to pay for wireless web time, and individual ringtone downloads, etc...
so long story short, unless you have one of those truly rare special phones that actually let you hook it up to the computer, you're probably stuck playing their game...
I'm boring, I always just keep my phone on vibrate anyway
I used to use www.polyphonicringtonez.com/wap to get mine for free. Vodafone wants you to pay £2 for each but with that site it's nothing. It's a phone website so don't bother going to it on the computer.

Or, get a Mpx200 like me & DOOMy and be able to use wav files, hurray!

Not free, but 8 bucks for 6 months of unlimited downloads is better than what you're doing now.
Edit: It also has games and screensavers and the like.
