Ok, within the past week I've been having some weird latency problems. As soon as I enter a server I have like 700ping, which eventually goes down to about 180, then to 70, and later shoots back up. It has NEVER done this before. I've made sure that BitTorrent isnt running and that I'm not downloading anything. Infact, on the Server List, the ping shows up normally, usualy around 70. I've even pinged the server from DOS and they look just fine. I don't understand why this is happening; I see no reason for it to just suddenly start this. Also, Counter-Strike runs just fine, no ping issues there; so I'm sure this is just an odd problem with NS. In the year (or more) that I've been playing NS, this has never happened.

Anyone know whats up?

Check you connection setting in Steam. Just open steam ---> settings ---> internet tab
Select whatever setting is right for your connection.

On another note, you probably can run NS in a much higher resolution than you are. I've got less RAM and an earlier/smaller vid card and I run NS in 1400x1050 just fine.
