The first Battle of the <a href='http://www.battleforthegalaxy.com' target='_blank'>http://www.battleforthegalaxy.com</a> tournament was a success and everyone had a lot of fun. It took place on Father's day, but we still had a very good turn out.

The Aliens had 63958 points and the Marines had 39376 points , don't let the score fool you, there were a lot of close games and comebacks for both sides. It was a lot of fun, and the next battle will be next Sunday.

Aliens are still kind of low on players. So feel free to sign up. If you have any questions, please leave a post or goto #nsbfg on gamesurge. I will be happy to answer any questions.


This is a tournament for casual and competitive players. Practices are held 3 times a week for each team, and we develop all player's talents, and answer any questions regarding the game. This is a great chance for casual players to get a taste of what competition holds, and at the same time improve their skill.

    Its funny you mention it, we have a few euros on both teams. The servers are east coast and run on really powerful machines, the ping isn't that bad for international players.

    Hmmm I signed up for the alien team the day I saw that announcement on ns.org but I never recieved any information on this battle...
