You might wanna download NVrefreshtool from <a href='http://www.nvrt.org/' target='_blank'>here.</a>

Or if you have an ATI card , use <a href='http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rl/' target='_blank'>Refresh lock </a>

Personally, I prefer <a href='http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rf/download.html' target='_blank'>ReForce</a>. It's compatible with nVidia AND ATI cards and it locks it permanently without needing to run a program constantly.

For some reason this doesn't work for me and I'm still locked at 60.

Right-click on Desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Displays > Monitor (Button above the picture of a monitor) > change the Refresh Rate Override

You need monitor drivers for reforce!
And i don't mean the standard windows drivers.

That's weird, ReForce worked fine for me with generic Windows drivers.

Sometimes the standard monitor driver uses less Hz, i had 85Hz with windoh driver and 100 with the one from Philips.
