Why was this topic made, anyway? It seems too much like an attention seeking, compliment fishing kind of topic. At least to me.

Because after I messaged everyone in the Invite Thread, I had about 15 invites spare.

So then I had the smart idea to go on IRC and go "Who wants a GMail invite?"

For the next hour or so I entertained rampant stupidity from arseholes who thought they could get 2 or more invites out of my using different names and whatnot.

    Yeah, 'had to be there'.

Do you keep every piece of mail from your mailbox?! Why then keep email that's years old? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Some people like to reflect on their past once in a while. Sometimes, I go through logs of chats with friends and see how much I've changed over the years. I haven't been able to keep many emails because of mailbox limits. Granted, I won't need 1 GB of space just for email, but it's a good gimmick and it's nice ot know that if I <b>need</b> the space, I can have it.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up, everyone. Although, I personally don't see the point of having it all on a server, I can see why it would be important to some. Personally, I think it's easier (for Outlook Express users) to take the database of emails Outlook generates and save it, since it's just a glorified text file of all the emails on the system. That, or just make a text file of all important emails.

Personally, I trust my email more on hard drives arranged in a RAID array that get backed up every few weeks to a single hard drive. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
