<div class="IPBDescription">using glowmod</div> i setup glowmod earlier today (something i suggest you all check out <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73408' target='_blank'>Here</a>) and it added some much more beauty to the game i spent about an hour just walking around snapping screens. so i made a couple of fairly attractive backgrounds (nothing fancy, just standard photoshop stuff) and figured i post the best one. If you like this, maybe i'll post some of the others <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

    .) Maybe you should not brighten up some lights and then darken the whole area around it, it's kinda unrealistic.

    .) I think you used a bit too much light, especialy on the walls.

    well, actual the reason the pillars(and the rest of the lights for that matter) are glowing like lightsabers is cause of glow mod (once again its real cool, go look at it) which was why i thought the screenshot was cool in the first place, but...so far as realism goes, well...can't help u there.

    I like to make my backgrounds just screenshot, no text. But nice job with these!
    Although I think you could have used some more ominous-looking pictures for this.

    well, as long as i'm pasting pictures (and i have a look at those screens Windelkron thanks) heres a sketch i just finished coloring in photoshop. i think it looks pretty good, but thats your guys call. this is a MUCH smaller copy of this, had to shrink it to make the 120k limit.

    The second one would have been creepier without the Fade there. And left a lot more implied as to whose ghosts, and if they were from before or after the Kharaa invasion.     I dunno. The way I interpreted it the "ghosts" were cloaked kharaa. Rather shallow I admit, but that's what the transperifade made me think.
