A Creative Griptape Design....

ive been skating for... ill say, 2-3 years now... and ive been drawing even longer... so i came to thinking that i should put the 2 together and come up with a griptape design for my new board that i bought... so i went on google and looked up various things... 8-balls, darkstars, symbols, element signs... then i looked for the japanise lettering/symbol for peace... i found a great design... here it is... turned out great.

    although, honestly, I dislike it when people put japanese and chinese all over the place. it's very trendy imo. but you did it pretty nicely.

    lol if I ever learn to write in chinese (I ought to, I went to chinese school for 6 years but learned nothing) I will become a tattoo artist. When some punk wants me to write "down with the system" or "I love laura" on him in chinese... I'm going to write something like "I hate chinese people" or "Free money, just ask"
    ("i hate chinese people" because chinese people will be the people who can read it, and thus get offended and lay the smack down upon him)

    I've been thinking about that too. You know those shirts that are covered in japanese/chinese? I'll bet they say nothing but, "Stupid Americans will buy anything."

    If I was going to do Chinese/Japanese lettering somewhere (not nescessarily a tattoo, just any kind of decoration), I'd learn enough of the script and the language in question to write "LobSTER sticks to magNET". People always get "peace" and "love" done and it's getting kind of crazy. My way would be funnier because then I could screw with people's heads. :>

    I actually know someone with a ridiculous kanji tattoo. She asked a friend of mine to find out the word for "death" or something like that so she could get it tattoo'd.
