<div class="IPBDescription">Just installed and works fine (for me)..</div> Here is a quick list of fixes, straight from the release notes:
<ul><li>Fixed CGI string attacks issue</li><li>Fixed UPnP on Windows XP SP2 issue</li><li>Fixed One way audio issue</li><li>Fixed NAT-T issue for some VPN connection</li><li>Fixed DHCP server revision, fill the siaddr to the server address</li><li>Fixed DHCP (BOOTP) vulnerability issue</li><li>Added Filter IDENT(port 113) to appear stealth when scanned</li><li>Added DHCP option 55 support</li><li> Fixed buffer leakage bug</li><li>Modified TCP Support RFC 3360 standard</li><li>Modified PPPoE/L2TP/PPTP fragmentation supports fragmenting 1 packet into more than 3.</li><li>Modified MTU/MRU function for better handling [of what?]</li></ul>
Pleases note that these upgrades are only for befsr41 version 1 and 2 routers ONLY!
These will not work with version 3 routers. To check which version you have, just look under the router. The sticker should say which version number you have (if you have no version number, then its version one)

Get the upgrades <a href='http://www.linksys.com/download/firmware.asp?fwid=3' target='_blank'>here.</a>

<b> Please remember that if you install these to the wrong router version, it could seriously screw it up! Make sure your router is the right version for this patch!</b>

Bah, so they still don't have a fix for v3, which is the one that doesn't freakin work. Grrrrrr.

Thanks for reminding me to check this. The newest beta firmware for my wireless router finally supports stuff that I could only get previously using unofficial linux-based 3rd party firmware. QoS (quality of service) controls are a wonderful thing. Now I can let my router know it should give me more bandwidth than the rest of my internet nublet family (tee hee hee)
