<div class="IPBDescription">help?</div> I'm on a cable connection, and until earlier today it was running perfectly fine. Then today I joined the "SpyderS" server, and started getting random lag spikes... I checked the netgraph, and it would be perfect, with choke and loss both at 0, and then loss would just randomly jump up to 18 or 17, and then after a couple seconds or more then a couple, it drops back down to 0... It's even got up to 80 lost at one point... around 50 antoher...

It's realyl obnoxious, i jump through a door, and get warped back, or I move in at someone to bite them, and i get warped back out of range, or i'm in midair falling on a guy, and then i suddenly warp back up the zenith of my jump. :/

It is making NS completely unplayable. It also happens on every server now, but it only started when I joined the SpyderS server.

Here are my settings:
"rate" is "25000"
"cl_updaterate" is "80"
"cl_cmdrate" is "101"
"cl_resend" is "6.0"
"cl_cmdbackup" is "2"

I've tried changing them all all over the place...

Tried moving update rate down to 10, cmd rate to 40... helped a little, but not really...

if it is only the Spyders server that gives you trouble, then it is the server's trouble

you may want to try setting cmdrate to about 60 or so and the updaterate to 80
