<div class="IPBDescription">Help...</div> Recently I reformatted, after, I insalled steam...but I had no origional Half Life. I think steam has HalfLife.wad packed up, therefore i cant use it. Does anyone know where I can download HalfLife.wad from

Download and install <a href='http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Nemesis/index.php?c=76#p76' target='_blank'>GCFScape</a>.
This is a tool to extract files inside a gcf file. If you check your <i>...\steam\SteamApps\ </i>folder you'll see all the gcf files for each game you have downloaded off steam.
Use GCFScape to extract the halflife.wad from the <b>half-life.gcf</b>.

What kind of error ?
And have you installed the <a href='http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en' target='_blank'>.Net Framework</a> which is required to run the tool ?

hmm, i had to install good ol Won again, but makes you stick to the ns wads <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

But i spose you need a sky, and invis textures or whatever
