Question
Anyone happen to know if BT Openworld ADSL use static or dynamic IP addresses for customers? I have a PC that I am trying to install at someone's house, but it gets hit up by a massive amount of trojan/virus spam the moment the internet connection installation disc finishes.
I suspect this might be due to the PC having a static IP address that is recorded in some filthy haxors target list. Thoughts?

Well, my BT ADSL line has a dynamic IP.
BT Yahoo! customers are dynamically allocated a single public IP address on all our broadband products

From BT Yahoo Broadband (replacing BT openworld, so should be same)
