Your Chambers Are Unchained

Voogru has unchained the chambers, you can thank Schimmel for bringing it to the forums over there. It is still under 'construction' still though. Right now aliens can build 3 of every type of chamber (dc,mc,sc) at one hive and use the full upgrades of all of them. This might seem somewhat overpowered, hence the construction part. If you wanna give it a try the IP is:

I am not sure if hive 2 has it in there yet, but hive one does. If you want to give it a try while it is still around, now is your chance.

Let me emphasize that this thread is to discuss that the idea that many of the NS.Org forums fans have been wanting. Many have that "unchain the chamber" avatar, and it would be nicer to see people like that to give constructive critisism about this particular modification. If you are going to waste your time and ours with useless flaming, don't bother posting. This thread is not about the voogru mods, so dont worry about them.

As for these "crap mods," not particularly, just special commands for donators really. And I don't want to start a flamewar, so I won't argue your opinion. The special donater commands are 10 fireworks in the ready room, signs, and vote commands.

If there is any way he can remove any of his other mods and leave this one on one specific server, it would be really sweet to see how it changes play, for pub and clans alike.

and the crap mods are phasegates that work too good to work, you cant weld them as long as someone comes trough.
You take 4 times longer to phase.
high price for no telefragging.
And f4 is blocked, its stupid.

Have they ever considered <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58503&hl=' target='_blank'>this</a> more balanced version of "chamber deregulation?" I really don't like the idea of just throwing it in there wholesale. I may have to find another server <i>again.</i>

Voogru tried this merely as a test to see how this system would work, and to see if it is a viable mod for the aliens

The thing is, I like playing on Voogru. I like most of the mods they have there. I liked the old health-giving armory alot better than the built-in one, for example. This seems to be giving too much to the aliens though. I'll try it, but I don't think it's going to work out, so I hope they don't keep it too long.

Advertisement for new (non-purchase-ad) servers goes in the General Servers forum. In addition, Voogru servers do not need to be advertised due to the dubious station they already hold within the community, whether for good or ill.
