We need a bigger topic list!

I think that with all the new blood we're getting these days it might be nice to increase the topic count per page to more than what it is right now.

    I still think that's a stupid idea.  How much bandwidth could you concievably save by just having 10 mroe avatars?  If it gets too bad, just disallow avatars or something.

    heh do you know how much traffic ns gets? Theyve had to switch forums because the others "couldnt handle their traffic". So do you wanna break these forums or be able to use them? I myself would like it to be bigger too but then the forums might be down alot.

    You'd be surprised how much increasing the number of topics displayed can ratchet up things like bandwidth and cpu usage.  And with all these new users, we don't want to risk a meltdown so close to release.

    Besides, it still shows more per page than it used to.
