Lag When Users Acess Console

Extreme lag in listen server
I was running a listen server yesterday and I had about 6 people in the game. Every time one person went into console, no matter who, it put the game into a severe lag. This lag then ceased when they exited console or whatever they were doing. It is almost like a pause... can anyone help?

Edit your listenserver.cfg file and enter/change the cvar:

    pausable 0

The error was probably not on your side, the default is pausable 1. How such an error made it into all three beta3 releases is baffling.

i run a listenserver at a lan, i can not access the listenserver.cfg and ive tried pausable 0 in console and then restarting the map, but it resets to 1 after its changed, is there any way to fix this, and can we expect ns dev team to fix this in next release?

This isn't an overly difficult thing, open the listenserver.cfg file and change "pausable 1" to "pausable 0". If you don't have access to the machine it's being hosted on, have the person who is hosting the server change it.

evilacro, if its changing the setting on its own, try setting in the listenserver.cfg's properties to "read only" that might help
