This thread has had more views in one day (not even twelve hours) than many (if not most) threads in the General Server Support forum (where server announcement threads are typically moved by the forum mods) enjoy in their entire lifetime. While the General Server Support forum is very helpful for admins trying to run a server, I see the General Discussion forum most effective when it comes to announcing a server to players (who have no reason to visit the General Server Support forum after reading its description). I'm pleased that the moderators left this thread where it would be so effective in its purpose of alerting players to the server's availability.
