i just noticed that in the title of the winamp.com homepage, there's a sentence that goes "What the hell is NtUserCallHwndLock?" well, it sounds like something to do with the windows API to me, and a search on MSDN turned up results for HwndLock, but the entire phrase came up empty. anyone have any idea what this is? it's been bugging me.

    Just an FYI:

    NtUserCallHwndLock is the name of a Windows API call when you're programming stuff for windows. Hwnd is a pointer to a window if I remember correctly (I haven't done any Windows programming in years)

    If I had to take a very rough guess I'd say it had something to do with the locking to grid location feature of Winamp.

    callwndlock sounds like something to keep windows from unlocking up.... wait it does that by itself. (made no sense lol) its a dos command im pretty sure

    They change the title every few weeks or every couple of months like a "quote of the day" feature. I'm not sure whether they're taken from the forums, but they're pretty random. I can't remember any past ones in particular, but they range from the standard llama-related fare to assorted baby-eating shenanigans.

    Yes, I <i>did</i> just use the word "shenanigans" in a sentence.
