Headset To Phone Adapter…

So I’ve decided to get the Altec Lansing AHS502 headset. I’ve seen stated somewhere that it can connect to a normal telephone if you buy the right accessory. I’ve looked all over and can’t find any adapter that would do that – maybe I’m looking wrong???

Does anyone out there know where I can get what I'm looking for, or am I on a wild goose chase?!

Thanks...

Dont take it from me but:

I think certain phones have this adapter might wanna goto RS or Bestbuy for the adapter.

Don't take this badly, but if you go wandering outside with such a headset on your cell phone, you'd look REALLY weird...

As far as I know, even if this article does exist, phones use mono sounds, which makes such a headset useless for a phone

    LOL

    I just got an image:

Walking down a wal-mart isle and find this guy with a 'helmet' sized headset on his cell phone.

Just to clarify? I?m meaning like a cordless phone at home? not a cell phone (though the same adapter would work for both, what I want it for is home use). That would look pretty stupid, lol!
