Wow. Clear lyrics, great lyrics, great tunes, great voices/style. A++.

Entirely average. Annoying vocals, average instrumentation, boring every-day-life lyrics. I give them a C+.

Saying a band is better than what's on the radio is not exactly a good thing, considering it's easy to top the popular music now-days.

The production is less than good, too.

    Oh yeah. Horrible band name.

They remind me of powderfinger, just more ameature. I think they'll be a lot better as the band machures over time, but they already do have a nice sound already.

Well it's true what they say, opinions are 2 cents a dozen, however theres still no need to get out the flamethrower so early on in the thread <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

For all he knows he could have assumed you were specifically talking about him >_>

I could care less if a band was on a record deal. Fitting my tastes is all that matters.

I was saying he was kinda being a bit too negative, so I used all the dirty tactics I know.

That is some nice ****. It could stand to be produced a bit better. The lighter guitarwork in particular doesn't come out very well, but they've got a really nice sound. I tend not to like the genre, but I liked that. I love the guy's voice.

    I like, very White Stripey.

But you can notice the low production costs..basically it sounds like the CDs we put together back in the day when I was in a band..yeah...

Just what the world needs, another band that over-uses guitar distortion and has a vocalist that's trying too hard to sound like the lead singer of The Strokes. Although that kind of music can be good once in a while, it simply becomes annoying after time. And since we're already on the subject of Purevolume (which is actually a pretty good site), I think I shall show you all what true ownage in band form looks like. Read the description of their shows, tell me that don't rule. Too bad these two particular songs aren't as good as most of the rest of their stuff.

Sounds okay, but I think they're trying a bit to hard to make the lyrics 'profound'. "Funny little feelin" is okay, that'd be the only song I would actually download - if I planned on listening to them again.

I say it's between Jet and the White Stripes (but I'm bad with bands and music types - hell, I took Jazz History and don't know how to differentiate any instruments besides piano, guitar, drums, violin (which is rare anyway) and bass[mostly, at least]).

Toddler banging on a tupperware container/Britney Spears music/N'Sync
Cristina Aguilera music back when she only had Genie in a Bottle
Polka/Country/New Kids on the Block (aha)
    Anything Rap
Most Jazz (especially Free Jazz and messed up Bebop - woot Jazz History)/Death metal
    <---They go here
Survivor/ a bunch of other bands I don't feel like listing
    Ben Folds [Five]/the White Stripes/Metallica...
    Eve 6/Green Day/Queen <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->/...
    REM/the Beatles/Virus/Matchbox 20

Soo....my musical tastes are beyond effed up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> . Just putting it in my perspective for you.

funny little feeling sounds like a mix between At The Drive In, then White Stripes, then Marilyn Manson...
    not a bad song though
