check to see if it happens on any other site
close your browser, start up again
restart windows/whatever
try it in another browser
see if webpages work with other fonts
try another google site.. i.e google.com.au or google.com.ca or whatever
<a href='http://www.google.com/intl/en/' target='_blank'>still wingdings?</a>
Whole comp in wingdings haha
I'm pretty sure none of my font setting got changed, I checked them to see if that was what was wrong but nothing interesting came up. Oh well, better run adaware <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Google in different languages... <a href='http://www.google.com/intl/xx-klingon/' target='_blank'>including Klingon!</a>
In the past, I've been helping kids to learn game programming during the summer workshops at DigiPen.
Sometimes, while compiling, their errors were so numerous and bad that *somehow* they showed up as google search results. I don't pretend to know how or why, but I know they definetly weren't capable of faking it.
Now THAT was messed up, if I'm lying I'm dying.

you think you've seen bad errors and then [who]them comes up and makes it look like a possible loss of precision

It's pretty easy to do, actually. A friend of mine did that to people that **** him off at school. Basically, you just make a batch file that deletes all of the fonts but wingdings, then renames wingdings to the system default font. Now you just have to trick a moronic PC owner to open the batch file, and boom, wingding hell.
