<div class="IPBDescription">Internet Explorer?</div> Ive recently converted to mozilla, but occationaly while playing ns, a popup comes, alt-tabs me, and screws with my sound/gamma. So is there anyway to get rid of internet explorer completely. Ive tried to delelte the folder, and its not listed under a window's service.

    It's not IE... You have spyware or messenger.exe running. Get rid of spyware with spybot or adaware, and stop messenger by going to start->run->services.msc and looking for the entry that says messenger and setting it to disabled.

    or you can also try freeing your computer of spyware (Spybot S & D or Adaware). Without spyware, IE should not be making popups for the heck of it.

    Ive gone through and done everything I can find, Spybot, adaware, using msconfig, using tasker manager +google, window's program manager, and still I get popups while playing.

    I have a soulmate! My parents machine has the EXACT same problem. I just ran Ad-Aware & SpyBot S&D, and I still get some very irritating popups. (CLICK HERE TO STOP POPUPS!, etc.)

    [EDIT] Messenger was running though. I'll see if that stops it.
