Problem With Server Listings

I am running Steam 1.6, with few problems.

I downloaded the files "ns_install_v3_b1" "ns_install_v3_b1" and "ns_v30_b4a_patch"

After running HL through steam, I exited steam, and installed them in the order above.

I reentered steam and clicked the NS link, and was sent to a splash screen.

I clicked the "Find servers" button, but no servers appeared

Perhaps someone could inform me of what I need to do in order to make the servers appear.

I have installed this game on another computer (don't ask) and I could find servers, so I would assume it is a compatibility error of some sort, but this may be a common bug.

umm, make sure your filters are set properly

and try just ussing the server window instead of launching the game.

Erm, That was a typo, I mean the 4 patch

I'm not sure what you mean by my filters being off. It seems highly unlikely that a game would not meet my specifications. Not to mention I have tried it with the filters off, nothing.

How might I run the server window not through NS? If you mean that there is something wrong with my server-listing compatability, my machine works fine for CS.

EDIT: Oh I get what you ment.
So you are sure you turned off all the filters, exept putting game to NS. And that you were on the internet games list (not favorites or history)

Ignore this is you actualy do know how to change filters

    BLINK

Filters: Those things that tell steam what servers to show you.

    Start Steam
Click the Server Button (instead of games)
Click the left most tab (internet)
Click the part that says Change Filters

    Game: Natura Selection
    Map: Null
    Latency: Null
    Location: Null
    Anti-Cheat: Null
and uncheck the 3 check boxes on the right.

    hit f5

Thanks, that worked, seems strange that no servers would meet my filters...
