    I take launching a new site as a fairly good sign...especially if it stays open after E3 (copyright says 2004, so might be legititmate <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> ).


    ...Too bad the trailer is just a rehashing of mostly E3 footage from last year. I also would have thought someone would have stolen the 'Half-Life 2' domain name by now.

    It's not stupid, it just redirects you, they're keeping the third game under wraps obviously. No point of having a HL3 site when there's nothing HL3 to show. Besides, who'd want HL3 stuff when HL2's not even out?

    I watched that huge interview with Doug Lombardi. He said they would reach beta by E3. They went alpha in march, meaning the entire game was complete, and that beta is the polishing stage. I think its finally upon us guys

    A lot of people are mad about the "We're releasing in Septemb- but wait, no, we don't want to release it, it's not done yet, (but we're still releasing in September! - no wait, no...source code leak, we're going to use that as an excuse as to why we've delayed 9 months).


    I still think you people are overreating, thinking it's all Valve's big conspiracy to get you to buy HL2 so they can plant brain suckers on your skull and make you drab, boring zombies who love "Mary Kate and Ashleigh's: Ride a Pony!" while watching the next 'Survivor' while scarfing down the new snack, Mircrosoft Chocolate Dollars.

    I was excited about it last year but as time's ticked on I've kinda just got on with my gaming life. I'm not mad at valve or anything, never have been... I just feel an overwhelming sense of apathy about HL2 now for some reason =o
