<div class="IPBDescription">Need a reliable hosting service</div> Due to the absolutely horrible service I've received from Recon Lamer, I've canceled my service with them. However, my players aren't happy about not having a place to play. Since I don't have a spare PC or enough upstream to host it myself, can you guys recommend a good, reliable hosting service? I've been looking at GibGames, but I figured I'd ask here first.

    I use 2 companys, <a href='http://www.bfgservers.com/' target='_blank'>BFG SERVERS</a> and <a href='http://www.thenetgamer.com/' target='_blank'>THE NET GAMER</a>, both are 20 slot puplic servers. Pings and support are about the same. Outstanding! I have been with BFG for over a year, NET GAMER less than 3 months. The only difference has been the price, with NET GAMER about 1/2 the cost of BFG. If the quality stays the same I will be moving our other server over to NET GAMER very soon. You can see both servers in my sig for test pings.

    Quite frankly I dont see how NET GAMER does it for 1/2 price. I keep waitting for them to fold or the prices to go up. But all has been good and support has been super.

    BFG seems to be a bigger company as I have had contact with more than one person there. But I see no difference in the quality of service between the two. Both companys have been GREAT.

    Like I said the only difference has been the price.

    The Net Gamer's been kicking for three years plus, and plan to be around for much longer.

    BlakHawc_, we've got two different methods of getting your server online.

    Each have their benefits and drawbacks. All the information about both is available at those links. And both are available for setup today.

    this is the absolute GOTO place for server rentals

    its probably the cheapest price out there and they have AWESOME servers -- I bought from them and their service has been PHENOMINAL
