Ah....
I had a BBC Micro, and years of my life went into my Elite save game.
Sabre Wulf & Knightlore... argh... so frustrating. In fact, I might ask forum permission (seeing as these *are* legal, unlike most) to put up links to the BBC Emu & the games, so everyone can experience the wonder.
Any mods that view, would this be okay? Seeing as no-one makes either the games, the computer or can in fact buy them, anywhere, and 99% of the companies don't even exist anymore?
gees you guys, if I wanted to hear old geesers telling stories I'd visit my grandparents more often <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
In all seriousness, I remember some of that stuff, I was like 2 years old when it was actually popular though <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Omg, Sid Meiers Civilization... apart from being my first strategy game ever, it was one of the atari games that had incredible music(the intro song, remember?)... Infact, I have a .zip with Monkey Island Main Theme Civilization Intro Elite II - Frontier Main Theme || - Grieg In the hall of the mountain king || - Strauss Blue danube || - Wagner Ride of the valkyries Future Wars Delight Intro Ikari Warriors Theme
And they are alllll great. I doubt there are any legal issues, but I'll ask a mod before I link you. EDIT: Or I would, if it worked. If anyone is really desperate to get it I can send it to you via IRC.
